Iceland August -September 2012
UPDATE! -- I have corrected the privacy issue with the video. Thank you to our friend for letting me know.
---------------------------
Yesterday, we travelled Iceland's Golden Circle - approximately a 180 mile loop of some of the country's most famous natural features.
The best summary is this minute and a half montage of our 8 1/2 hour day:
We leave Reykjavik this morning, heading east along the southern coast, about 300 mile to the fishing village of Höfn.
Several things we will miss most about Reykjavik:
- The food - we have eaten dinner at 3 of the top restaurants: The Grill Market, The Seafood Grill, and The Fish Company. Without hesitation, these were some of the best meals we've ever had.
- Our room - the Hilton has been lovely and spacious. The Hotel Dynga in Höfn describes its rooms as "functional" and the shared bath is across the hall. Our fingers are crossed the luggage fits.
